spent quality

time with mother today.

first we went to church at nine together, how precious. we rid in her new corolla LE 2009, and asked fr. wayne to bless it. it was quite a hilarious scene. when he was done, and me being full of sarcasm at the time i said, "father, that was beautiful".

we went to hanoi restaurant, afterwards. i got com tam and my mom got the fried shrimp french fry things, and we talked about random stuff. well it was mostly her talking and at one point and my mom was like, " joanna, i want to take this opportunity to say sorry for all the times i yell at you. it's usually because i'm pmsing or i'm nervous and i want you to know that i love very much. i also know that youre changing as an adult and i understand why you act the way you do ", or something along the lines of that. being the bitch that i am i said i love you and that i'm sorry for yelling back, although i didn't have the guts to tell her how i really feel about her yelling at me, but i'm not gonna type that out here, haha. but i did mean it when i said i love you and sorry for yelling. she, of course, ruined the moment by saying, "oh thank you joanna for saying that. you know as jesus said in the bible, 'i always want to hear that you love me' ". i just stared at her, and went back to eating my food.

we went to walmart, ross, and fashion q afterwards. i didn't want to go to walmart but my mom insisted, so i decided to read magazines while she shopped for her new car. when she was done she couldnt contact me to tell me she was done, so instead she had my name be called out throughout the whole store," joanna pham, please come to the front, your mother is waiting for you". embarrassing much?

i didn't get anything at fashion q or ross, cause i wasn't in the shopping mode. in fact i was quite tired. i went to sleep at like 1 and woke up at 5 in the morning and couuldnt go back to sleep until around 745. i bought underwear and a handbag from ross and now i'm here. i'm sleepy but i'll probably take a nap later. gonna go play super smash brothers by myself now. have a great afternoon.
