Green Tea

I've been drinking green tea lately because it's supposed to keep you awake, and plus it's yummy and good for you.

First day of Bible and Viet Class was okay I guess. Did the lame introducing yourself thing in Bible, and my teacher has a tendency to always say, "It's all good". Brian Truong is in my class this year because there's no more room in first shift, and Vivian's is too, so I'll have another person to talk to, sort of.

Viet class was kind of confusing. It was the first day of class, so everyone was testing. I was responsible for getting all the tests for all the teachers and making sure the kids in my class didn't cheat. The kids are so adorable. I never realized how small 8-year-old's really are.

I was doing my twirly pencil trick, and a little boy was amazed and wanted to learn. I tried teaching him. He almost did it, and he looked so happy. Some of the girls were doing Origami and I told them that I enjoyed doing Origami too, and decided to make a turtle. A huge flood of 7 and 8-year-old girls came up to me and asked me to teach them. It was really difficult, because the turtle was kind of hard to make. But it was cute all the same. We didn't have much time, so I told them I'd be back next week to teach them. Well, attempt to.

Had a little get-together at my house yesterday. Katelee came, and Kyna and Di Mai came down from San Diego, too. It was relaxing; we watched t.v. and ate pho most of the time.

Yay, Broncos won. 3-0, baby.

First day of Thieu Nhi today. Bunch of review stuff, but it was great seeing Jeanne again. I missed her.

I'm home alone with Catherine today. Parents are out, and it feels pretty wonderful.
