habit

I have this bad habit of always starting my homework late, and because of that i haven't been getting enough sleep lately. I think my body's getting a little used to it, though.

so football is our first unit for p.e. this year, and all we did today was practice throwing footballs. Monica and Sally were amazed I could throw one "so well" and called me pro. it was funny.

my chem teacher told a bunch of lame jokes in class, and of course, I laughed at all of them. the guy next to me was talking about how two kids had asthma attacks at the same time in the office when he went to go get a tardy slip. my teacher asked about whether or not they had their inhaler or whatever, and the guy next to me said that he didn't know.

so my teacher turned to the class and asked, "Hey you guys, you know what happened to people who had asthma back before inhalers were invented?" I was expecting an intelligent answer, like some ghetto old thing was made so that people breathed easier, but instead my teacher said, "that's right, they DIED. but they don't anymore, because now they have INHALERS." I started cracking up. A girl, apparently with no sense of humor at all, looked at me like I had five eyeballs.

I thought it was hilarious, even though I'm not entirely sure it was supposed to be funny.

after school some random guy started talking to me and walking with me toward the church because he thought I was some girl he met at the Aloha Dance. when i told him that i didn't even go to the dance, he still kind of followed me. i didn't want to be rude so i made small talk and asked him about school. it couldn't have gotten any more awkward.
